Super Chill Resolutions.

So it's a New Year. Time to reset, breathe and let in the new beginning. Until everyone starts hammering you with questions and pressuring you to pick a "New Years Resolution", Slimming World flyers being shoved through the door on Boxing Day plastered with "New Year, New me!" trying to guilt you into change yourself. Well no thank you. New year, old me but with space to grow. I am definitely not the only one who sets a resolution I'll never complete, ones that I am doing for the benefit of others rather than myself.

So this year I decided it's time for a change.

Out with the old, stressful and intense resolutions and in the with the new, chill and gentle ones.

  1. Learn to ride your bike to work.

  2. Take time for your writing.

  3. Try not to let Uni work take over your love of reading.

  4. Focus on what you do right, not what goes wrong.

  5. Try not to spend as much on unnecessary things.

  6. Remember to take time for yourself, and not feel guilty for it. Everyone needs a break sometimes.

Resolutions don't have to be set in stone, so don't beat yourself up if you fail at one or broke a pattern. Failure is a part of life and it's not something to be afraid of. (This is something I am also working on this New Year)

Here's to a New Year full of self love ,acceptance and maybe, some change.
